Advice (fill in your own answers) [12 Sep 2006|06:22pm]
[ mood | apathetic ]
[ music | Wallflowers; One Headlight ]

Always: listen to the words you say as you're saying them
Soon: you will wish you had slowed down
Never: eliminate the possibilities
Constantly: we're naming things. Posting labels on people, relationships...
Sometimes: regret is a good thing
Eventually: there will be nothing left but you and me and probably some penguins.
At that moment: she jumped out of the shell of herself and ran SMACK... right into him.
In a Lifetime: sing constantly. Yes, bad pop songs, too.
While it lasts: remember you have all the time in the world. For anything you want to do.

So first off, the garage sale is not the Saturday of this week, but Saturday of next week to make room for Mom's 35th Birthday. SO anyone I told to drop by then (shadowbase, transmutarius), we'll make plans for sometime in the next week.
People can feel free to stop reading my LJ now, as this is my last update from Montreal, and after this it'll all be back to just the Regular Teenage Angst.
And no one wants to see that.
I have approximately five more hours to be completely packed and ready to go.
WhoooOOOOSH!
That was the sound of air rushing through the empty cavity that used to contain my brain before it exploded.

Plans for when I return are as follows:
18th: Mom's Birthday
23rd: Registration, 12:30-1:30. LOCKER GRAB.
25th and 26th: Garage Sale.
26th and 27th: Athena Love. Fringing. Garage Sale.
4th or 5th: School Starts.

Also, I can't forget to buy the following things for school supplies (I love Art School... this is all I really need for next year):
-A big black portfolio case to keep all my art safe and sound.
-Looseleaf paper
-Pens. Micros, if I have enough money.

Must remember to get a job. I like having money. For Micros.
Re-write Resume to include all new achievements!

Hang out with:
-Athena
-Andraea
-Iris
-Bailee
-Mike

And others.
This concludes my Memory.

C'est pas possible... [13 Aug 2006|06:14pm]
[ mood | melancholy ]
[ music | Some French Pop Song ]

It's already over.
Today I went to Mont Royal with
Salsa (Arianne) the Adorable (together, we are bilingual!)
Cheese-Wizz (Alex) my Three Week Brother (gimme zero, personne est morte!)
Etiencelle (Audrey) my Fairy Sister (Don't grow any! You're the perfect size.)
Maya (Lise-Anne) the Mother of the Camp (Hiiii Maya Hiiii! Julie est quoi? Gossante!)
and some others from camp...
I pinky swore all of them that I'll come back and visit, and I mean to. I loved my adventures, and in the words of the Big Cheese:
J'<3 Montreal! And it <3s me!

Won't forget a moment. Thank you, ma gang.
XOXO

The past few days...weeks... [11 Aug 2006|07:22am]
[ music | Here comes your man, Pixies ]

Yesterday, after what was possibly the worst day I've ever had here, we walked up to St Justin for some sort of end of year party thing the monitors were having. I was busy eating my lucky charms I had thrown in a big bag, and feeling sorry for myself at the time; you see, that day we had gone SKATING. Like, roller blades, scooters, bikes, and skateboards, two monitors, two assistant monitors, and about forty kids.
On the metro, on the way back, it was physically impossible. And the b**** at the ticket counter called the police because the kids were (more or less ok) some of them skating.
IN THE METRO
Why are they so stupid!
Anyways, a few confiscated scooters and one Marc-Andre freak out fit later, we were back at work late, my eye was infected and red cause I got something in it (for parents reference, please someone can you make me a contact appointment for when I get back, I'm run out), and it was raining, and I had to walk to St Justin.
BUT I HAD MY LUCKY CHARMS
When we got there, it was actually so sweet, I wanted to cry. They made me close my eyes, and then stuffed my paycheck in my hands (so unlike I had supposed, I'll actually be coming back with money), and then we had a whole table of food... and some punch... and they gave me and Steph HOODIES.
I'm wearing mine right now, over my pyjamas.
My last day of work starts in a half an hour.
So I'd better get going.

[ mood | crazy ]
[ music | Bran Van 3000, "Astounded" ]

I decided that today was just too good not to write about.
Plus, for once, I have a night of nothingness to look forward too!
Anyways, the day started off pretty abnormal, and that sorta set the theme for the rest of it.
Shocking fact #1: I woke up early today.
#2: I went for a run.
#3: I got back, showered. That in itself is not that unusual. But then, after I was dressed, I went to the kitchen to eat something. It was filled with some sort of toxic fumes because Merilene had tried to cook something, but left the kleenex box on the stove.
#4: I was OBSERVANT! And SMARTISH! I took the box, which was burnt all over the bottom, and quickly opened it up. She was panicking and had no idea what to do. I took out all of the kleenex, which was blackened (noircir = to blacken ... god bless Steinke :P) and ran outside. Just as I put it down by the pool, it burst into flames.
Not so Shocking fact #1:
I missed my bus.
#2 I forgot that my bus pass was expired, it being August and such.
#3 I was almost late for work.
#4 The day I forget my swimsuit, we go swimming.
#5 I was still the most wet out of everyone.
#6 It all got better in the end.

Cabane au Sucre, etc. [29 Jul 2006|11:10am]
[ music | Feist, the French Song (appropriate) ]

Last night we went out to St. Catherines, and then walked all the way down to the Old Port, dancing practically the entire way. It was toxic and magical (yes, I know, they're the same thing). When I finally got home, I pretty much just collapsed in bed. It's the family's weekend with a holiday, so the grandparents have come to watch the house (and me). They're very nice, pretty relaxed so I don't have to constantly be checking the time when I'm out. Curfew is 10 on weekdays and midnight on Friday and Saturday. It seems like a long time in writing, but when you're actually out on the town it goes by pretty fast.
Today (I don't know when... er, must call Jen) we're going to the Cabane au Sucre. Which is pretty much just EVERYTHING dipped into maple syrup.
I'm not complaining.
I'll try and keep everyone updated. Sorry to all my parents for the lack of calling, I will get there!!
Love.
Ta!
Oh damn I forgot I was cooking eggs for breakfast oh the TOAST OH ZUT.

EEE gonna be late~ [27 Jul 2006|08:21am]
[ music | Arcade Fire, on Sonic ]

Sorry about the delay! I'll write as much as I possibly can in the next 3 minutes before I bus to work, IT'LL BE FUN!
So I'm listening to Sonic online now, I'm depressed cause I miss Wolf Parade by about three days (I return on the 17th, they're in town on the 14th), but on the other hand, I get to go to the Vans Warped Tour the day before I leave~ with a bunch of people from work!
Yesterday, with the same group, we went to the soccer game (it rained), and then went downtown. I was on my way to the Metro cause I was past my 10:00 limit.
I magically healed my Ipod after Merilene broke it (accidentally).
I love PUDDLES!
I woke up early this morning and went for a run, attempting to limit my icecream intake. I blame the cute emo who works the Gelato #1 by my house.
The kids are kinda boring this week, I can't get them to do anything with me. But they love to not listen, run in the street, and pretend not to hear me. I pretend they listen, are well behaved, and can make those pyramids on waterskis.
You know the ones.
Miss everyone.

So the plane ride was pretty sweet on the way to Grandpa's funeral, because I met up with Jake in the terminal and we got to hang out (I got my fill of sarcasm for the next month, thanks). After that, the beautiful funeral service, punctuated by exclamations of "MOO MOOO cow..." from my baby cousin Nora. I think you could say she completed the ceremony.
(Will be finished later, must run.)
